i've been having a rather rough time with being hopeful lately as i mentioned in my hope post. and i've been missing Julius pretty badly today. but this song has been circulating around in my mind for a couple of weeks. i always dismiss it because it seems like too hopeful a song for me to sing right now. but thought i would share, for those who are more receptive, for those who are allowing the hope in...
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

Thinking of you!
This song always makes me smile:) I know that the sun is coming for you, Tiffany. <3 <3
Sending you lots of hugs!
This song I just love. A friend of mine sang it at my daughter's service and for her 1st birthday celebration. I just LOVE it!!!
Holding you close to my heart ((HUGS))
Tiffany,
I used to listen to this song a lot when we were going through our fertility treatments. And it has been floating around my head too the last couple weeks. It's hard to feel like the sun will come back out again for us. But I know it will. It has to. Ellie and Julius and all the other little angels up there won't let us live without it for too long. Hugs to you. I hope the sun comes back for us soon!
It has certainly been a long, cold winter. Sunshine welcome here, too.
I often think and pray for your heart's pain to ease. You remind me so much of the strength of another woman that lost her child early. Please read it. It has brought me great comfort and I believe it will bring you some!

I can definitely understand not being in the mood for that one right now. One of my favorite Beatles songs when the grief was still pretty raw (about this time last year, actually, I just realized our losses are about a year and few days apart since we lost Olivia Sept. 28) was Let It Be. Another one I always really liked was When the Rain Comes by Third Day. Some days you just need to wallow, and that's okay. Thinking of you.
Bit raw for me at the moment, I'm afraid. After Catherine died, I couldn't bear any music at all (always had me gushing), but I do seem to be getting better.
Catherine was a big Beatles fan, and liked to sit on her Dad's knee and watch John and Paul videos on U-tube.
I used to sing this to C a lot:
I've just seen a face,
I can't forget the time or place
That we'd just met, she's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm mmm mmm
Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
But I had never been aware
And as it is I dream of her tonight
La, di, di, da di di
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling me back again
I have never known
The likes of this, I've been alone
And I have missed things and kept out of sight
But other girls were never quite like this
Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm mmm mmm
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling me back again
I've just seen a face
I can t forget the time or place
And we'd just met, she's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Mmm, mmm, mmm, la di di
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling me back again
S. xx
Beatles! Play it on Rock Band all the time! In fact funny thing, Rock Band has helped me and my family cope since TanaLee died...the Beatles are a classic fav for our family to play.
